Register for the 2025 CFWI Regional Water Supply Plan Steering Committee and Public Meeting
The 2025 Central Florida Water Initiative (CFWI) Regional Water Supply Plan (RWSP) Work Group will be holding a Steering Committee and Public Meeting Friday, Sept. 12, 2025, at 10 a.m. at the St. Johns River Water Management District (SJRWMD) Apopka Service Center. The meeting will include a presentation of the final draft 2025 CFWI RWSP for requested endorsement by the CFWI Steering Committee.
St. Johns River, South Florida, and Southwest Florida water management district (District) staff are nearing completion of the 2025 CFWI RWSP. The final 2025 CFWI RWSP is scheduled for consideration of approval by the governing boards of the respective Districts by the end of 2025.
The CFWI Planning Area consists of Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Polk counties and southern Lake County. The draft 2025 CFWI RWSP identifies existing and projected water needs as well as projects and funding sources to meet those needs over the next 20 years.
The Steering Committee and Public Meeting will be held both in-person and virtually via Teams. The meeting will be held at the SJRWMD Apopka Service Center, located at 2501 South Binion Road, Apopka, FL 32703. Participants may register to attend either in-person or virtually at this registration link. If attending in-person, meeting registration is optional. The meeting agenda and additional information will be available prior to the meeting at cfwiwater.com/meetings.
