ROAD REHABILITATION – ARPA AND ROAD BOND PROJECT

Funded Road Bond Project
The City of North Port is requesting sealed bids to secure the services of an experienced, professional, licensed, and qualified Contractor capable of providing construction services in accordance with the specifications and drawings to construct all labor, materials, equipment and incidentals required for the pavement reconstruction, milling, resurfacing of various locations within the City of North Port.
This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal award to the City of North Port by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Utilizing the Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (SLFRF) allocated to the City pursuant to the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA). All procurements by Federal Grant recipients and sub-recipients shall comply with the provisions of 2 C.F.R. Section 200.317-27, as applicable. This project is subject to the requirements set forth in the Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards, 2 CFR Part 200. Proper documentation is required by the American Rescue Plan Act, per federal requirements and corresponding forms.
MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING: JULY 9, 2024, AT 9 AM

Bidders shall attend the pre-bid meeting. Any bidder who fails to attend the pre-bid meeting will be deemed non-responsive and automatically disqualified from further consideration. The purpose of this meeting is to familiarize bidders with the project and answer questions. All bidders must be present and signed in within the first 10 minutes of the start of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting. The convener of the meeting will collect the sign in sheet(s) and the meeting will “Officially” start. Anyone not signed within the first 10 minutes of start of the meeting will be considered late and will not be allowed to bid on the project. Please allow 10 to 15 minutes to sign in prior to the start of the Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting.

Late bids will be rejected and will not be considered for award.
