Leon County Government invites the community to celebrate the Second Annual Woodville Founders’ Festival on Saturday, Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Leon County’s J. Lewis Hall Park. On Friday, Feb. 27, beginning at 6:30 p.m., various activities will be held by several participating churches and food vendors at the First Baptist Church of Woodville, 9500 Woodville Highway.
 
The Leon County Woodville Branch Library will host cultural and historical events from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, with musical performances from Theatre with a Mission. Other special activities include model railroads for children and adults; a demonstration from internationally renowned sculptor, Brad Cooley; Mr. “Murph” Murphy, a blacksmith; and Judith Strickland from the Tallahassee Museum, who will be making butter alongside Civil War re-enactors and local authors.
 
There will be an antique car and tractor show at Leon County’s J. Lewis Hall Park, including various local vendors.
