Leon County Offer Onsite Interviews After Opening Two New Parks in the Northeast

Leon County Government will offer onsite media interview availability for the opening of two new parks, Pimlico Park and Man-O’-War Park, at 6570 Man-O’-War Trail on Thursday, May 12, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Located in the Killearn Acres neighborhood, the parks add nearly 18 acres of park space for Leon County residents to enjoy.
Through an innovative public-private agreement, the County will now maintain both Pimlico Park and Man-O’-War Park, increasing outdoor offerings for all while aligning with the County’s goal to support strong neighborhoods, enhance mobility and create public spaces for people of all ages.
Leon County Commissioner Brian Welch will be joined by County staff to speak about the parks and their impacts.
