Happy New Year and Happy New You!

With over 4,000 years of practice, we have been making New Year’s resolutions as a rite of passage to “say goodbye to the old and hello to the new”. The concept seems pretty logical until mid-February comes around and you have only used that gym membership three times. Any time is a good time for personal growth and change. One of the best things that you can do for yourself is keep your resolutions simple. The LCLCPL can be your partner in achieving many of those goals. Aside from an extensive print collection, we also offer thousands of ebooks and audiobooks. Want to explore different careers? Check out EBSCO Learning Express. Do you have an interest in a new hobby or want to brush up on professional skills? Universal Class offers hundreds of online classes with topics ranging from accounting to personal development. Have a need for intrigue? Check out the movies and documentaries on Kanopy, our streaming service. Whether popping in to pick up holds or staying to participate in a program, YOUR Leon County Public Library is here for you. As we venture into 2022, realize the power of your library card. The possibilities are endless.

Amazing things are happening,
Pamela Monroe
Library Director
