Apply, Interview, and Get Hired, All in the Same Day on November 8
Leon County Government will host its Hired On-The-Spot career event where local job seekers can apply, interview and get hired all in the same day. On Monday, November 8, candidates can learn about the County’s job openings with competitive pay, great benefits, career advancement and so much more. Candidates chosen to join the County team can start as soon as November 15 and join a vaccinated workforce.
Attendees will participate in on-site interviews for positions in Public Works, Parks and Recreation, Facilities Management and Solid Waste divisions. At this event, Leon County Government will offer careers in the following positions:
- Build and maintain roadways as a Maintenance Technician
- Assist citizens at rural waste service centers as a Rural Waste Service Center Attendant
- Drive heavy equipment and machinery as an Equipment Operator
- Keep County parks clean and safe for all to enjoy as a Park Attendant
- Ensure County buildings are well-maintained as a Facilities Support Tech III
