Top college and high school athletes will compete in the Florida State University Cross Country Invitational meet, Friday, Oct. 15, and Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at Leon County’s award-winning Apalachee Regional Park. This year’s meet is estimated to bring more than 5,200 athletes and over 9,000 visitors to Leon County leading to over $4.5 million in economic impact.
The meet serves as a preview for the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Cross Country Championships Nov. 19, 2021 and the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) State Cross Country Championships in Leon County Nov. 12, 2021.
