Join Leon County Government to kick off this year’s CosmicCon with a Library Lecture on Saturday, August 14 at 11 a.m. at the Leon County Main Library. The event will feature local illustrator Elizabeth Lampman Davis, whose whimsical illustrations inspire curiosity and imagination in viewers of every age.
Elizabeth Lampman Davis will discuss her artistic style and the importance of representing children of all backgrounds and abilities in her illustrations. The lecture will include a demonstration of her creative process from the first sketch to the final image.

After the lecture, citizens are invited to view the exhibit, “Turning the Page: Inclusive Illustrations by Elizabeth Lampman Davis,” on display at the Main Library from now until September 30, 2021.
Leon County selects speakers and topics that engage and inspire, appealing to the interests of all citizens. Library Lectures are free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.
