JJ Grey & Mofro and Boz Scaggs Scheduled to Play at Capital City Amphitheater This Fall  

The Leon County Division of Tourism (Visit Tallahassee) will host  concerts for JJ Grey & Mofro and Boz Scaggs this  fall at the Capital City Amphitheater. Jacksonville natives, JJ Grey & Mofro will return to the Amphitheater on Friday, Sept. 11, 2020 and the multi-genre Boz Scaggs takes the stage for his Out of Nowhere tour on Friday, October 16, 2020. Tickets are on sale now. 

Following his sold out performance at the Amphitheater last year, JJ Grey & Mofro will return to Leon County to open the FSU home football season weekend. From the days of playing local juke joints to headlining major festivals, the American Southern Soul Rock Band JJ Grey & Mofro remain unfettered, blissful performers, singing with a blue-collared spirit over the bone-deep grooves of JJ Grey’s compositions. Prices are $30 for General Admission, $35 for P2 Reserved and $50 for P1 Reserved.

In celebration of his new album, Out of the Blues,  Boz Scaggs will perform at the Amphitheater on Friday, Oct. 16. Celebrating five-decades as a singer, songwriter and guitarist, Scaggs will perform timeless hits including Grammy-winning "Lowdown,"  "Lido Shuffle," "It's Over," "We're All Alone" and more. Prices are $27 for General Admission, $38 for P2 Reserved and $45 for P1 Reserved.
