County and City Commissioners to Attend Town Hall Hosted by The Village Square

The non-profit organization The Village Square will hold a town hall event on Wednesday, March 13, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at WFSU Public Media, 1600 Red Barber Plaza.

All Leon County and City of Tallahassee Commissioners have been invited to attend. This event provides a forum for Commissioners to engage with community members in a cross-governmental discussion about where Tallahassee–Leon County is as a community, where we are going, and what challenges we face in getting there.

The event is offered in partnership with Leon County Government, the City of Tallahassee, Tallahassee Democrat, Leadership Tallahassee, and WFSU Public Media, with support from AARP Florida and Bible Based Church.

To RSVP, visit http://tlh.villagesquare.us/event/town-hall-2019/.

The program will also be streamed via WFSU’s Facebook and on WFSU.org. The event will also air on WFSU-TV on Thursday, March 14 at 7 p.m. and on WFSU-FM 88.9 radio on Friday, March 15 at 7 p.m.

For more information, please contact Mathieu Cavell, Leon County Community and Media Relations, at (850) 606-5300 or CMR@LeonCountyFL.gov , or Alison Faris, City of Tallahassee Department of Communications at (850) 891-8533 or Alison.Faris@Talgov.com.

Please note: More than one member of the Board of County Commissioners and City Commission may be in attendance at this meeting. Subjects, which may appear before the Board of County Commissioners or City Commission, may be discussed. In such instance, this meeting would be declared a special meeting of the Leon County Board of County Commissioners or Tallahassee City Commission.
