WHAT:           Installation and Reorganization of the Board

WHEN:          Tuesday, Nov. 20, at 3 p.m.

WHERE:        Leon County Courthouse, 301 S. Monroe St., Commission Chambers

 

An Installation and Reorganization Ceremony for the Leon County Board of County Commissioners will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 20 in the Commission Chambers, located on the fifth floor of the Leon County Courthouse, 301 S. Monroe St.

The ceremony will begin at 3 p.m. and will be presided over by Chief Judge Jonathan Sjostrom and Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller Gwen Marshall.

During the Installation and Swearing-in Ceremony, re-elected Commissioners Bill Proctor, Kristin Dozier and Nick Maddox and newly elected Commissioner Rick Minor will take the Oath of Office.

During the Reorganization Ceremony, the Board will elect a Chairman and Vice-Chairman for the 2018/2019 year.

After the ceremony, the Board will reconvene for the regularly scheduled Board meeting.
