Leon County Commission Meeting Canceled and Other Service Changes in Advance of Hurricane Michael

 

Due to storm preparations and activities, Leon County offices, libraries and parks will be closed starting at noon on Tuesday, October 9 and will remain closed through Thursday, October 11. Also, the Tuesday, October 9, Leon County Board of County Commissioners Meeting has been canceled. All items will be on the agenda for the October 23 meeting.

Solid waste collection in the County will be suspended on Wednesday, October 10. Residents are urged to secure their collection bins during the storm. Further details on waste collection service will be announced later this week.
