Leon County Accepting Tourism Grant Applications for Signature, Special and Sports Events
In its ongoing efforts to promote tourism and financially support events that bring out-of-town visitors to the area, the Leon County Division of Tourism (Visit Tallahassee) grants application process for 2018-2019 Signature, Special and Sports Events Grants is now open.

Eligible event(s) must take place between October 1, 2018 and September 30, 2019 and have the potential to or history of bringing visitors to the area who use local hotels or short-term lodging facilities in Leon County.

Leon County uses an online grant application that simplifies the process for applicants. Three workshops are being held to further assist applicants and provide additional information about the County’s grants programs. The workshops will take place at the LeRoy Collins Leon County Public Library, 200 W. Park Avenue, on May 22, June 12, and July 10 from 3 p.m. – 5 p.m.

Applications are due by Friday, July 13, 2018.
