Leon County Government will host an entrepreneurial engagement meeting on Wednesday, November 29 from 3:30 p.m. until 6 p.m. at Fifth and Thomas, 1122 Thomasville Road. At the event, attendees will exchange ideas on how to keep up the momentum and shape the next five years of entrepreneurial engagement and progress.

In addition to being recognized as Entrepreneurship Month, November marks the five year anniversary of Leon County’s 2012 Stakeholder Forum, where seasoned business leaders, spirited startups, and eager young entrepreneurs mobilized many of the community endeavors and resources that are available for early stage businesses.

Over the last five years, Leon County has helped cultivate a transformative entrepreneurial culture that continues to thrive. Leon County recognizes that entrepreneurs are essential to a dynamic start-up and business environment in our community. This event will reinforce the importance of business formation, growth, and retention while also highlighting the essential collaborations between local government, businesses, and institutions of higher education.

The Tallahassee-Leon County Office of Economic Vitality welcomes entrepreneurs, business owners and community stakeholders to help create and define new strategies. Attendees will participate in facilitated conversations to identify the latest opportunities and needs in order to continue cultivating successful entrepreneurs and businesses in our community.
