Leon County and the American Legion Honor Veterans at Operation Thank You
WHO: Leon County and the American Legion Sauls-Bridges Post 13
WHAT: Operation Thank You Veterans Day Breakfast
WHEN: Saturday, November 11 from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
WHERE: American Legion, 229 Lake Ella Drive
In its continuous and long tradition of supporting local veterans, Leon County has partnered with the American Legion Sauls-Bridges Post 13 to host the Operation Thank You Veterans Day Breakfast on Saturday, November 11 from 6:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. At 8 a.m., a ceremony will be held to honor all veterans and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The breakfast event will take place at the American Legion located at 229 Lake Ella Drive.
Leon County Commissioners, County staff, American Legion members and volunteers will be on hand serving breakfast to veterans. Each veteran in attendance will receive an Operation Thank You Commemorative Challenge Coin and Leon County Proclamation.
The event is free and open to the public.
