Leon County Reschedules Public Hearings

on FY2017-2018 Budget

 

Due to the impacts of Hurricane Irma and in observance of Rosh Hashanah, Leon County will reschedule the following budget-related public hearings.

First Public Hearing Regarding Tentative Millage Rates and Tentative Budgets	Wednesday, Sept. 20 6 p.m.	Tuesday, Sept. 26 6 p.m.
Second Public Hearing Regarding Final Millage Rates and Final Budgets	Tuesday, Sept. 26 6 p.m.	Tuesday, October 3 6 p.m.

 

Citizens interested in providing public comment should attend the Tuesday, Sept. 26 and Tuesday, Oct. 3 public hearings at 6 p.m.

All meetings will be held at the Leon County Courthouse on the fifth floor in the County Commission Chambers, 301 S. Monroe Street.

Following guidance from the Florida Department of Revenue, the rescheduled tentative budget public hearing on September 26 will be a continuation of the public hearing previously scheduled for September 20. All proper notices will be issued and duly advertised in the days ahead.
