WHAT:     2017 Hurricane Season Kickoff and Presentation of the Annual Disaster Survival Guide

WHEN:     Thursday, June 1, 10 a.m.

WHERE:   Public Safety Complex, 911 Easterwood Drive

           

Capital Area Emergency Management Partners and local leaders will gather Thursday, June 1, for a news conference to announce the upcoming hurricane season and to reinforce the importance of disaster preparedness. 

The event will be held at 10 a.m. at the Public Safety Complex, 911 Easterwood Drive, with representatives from Leon County, City of Tallahassee, Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Capital Area Chapter American Red Cross, the National Weather Service-Tallahassee office and emergency response agencies.
