Avett Brothers Return to Capital City Amphitheater Memorial Day Weekend

The Grammy nominated Avett Brothers return to the Capital City Amphitheater at Cascades Park during Memorial Day weekend on Friday, May 26, 2017.
As an added bonus, the band advanced the show time to 8:15 p.m. – concert was originally slated to begin at 8:45 p.m. – allowing more time to perform some of their newer songs. A limited number of tickets remain for the upcoming Avett Brothers performance and can be purchased at www.CapitalCityAmphitheater.com or by calling (850) 671-4700.
Tickets range in price from $49 for general admission through $67 for reserved seating. Prices include all taxes and service charges.
On the day of the show, gates open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8:15 p.m. There is no opening act.
In 2015, The Avett Brothers played to a sold out crowd at the amphitheater and since then have been nominated for two Grammy Awards – Best American Roots Performance for “Ain’t No Man” and Best Americana Album for “True Sadness.”
The popular folk rock band combines bluegrass, country, punk, pop and indie rock. Their latest album “True Sadness” achieves the group’s highest career debut to date and dominates multiple charts, including #1 on Billboard’s Top Albums Chart, #1 Top Rock Albums Chart, #1 on the Digital Albums Charts and #3 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart.
