Leon County Main Library Displays Student Masterpieces

Leon County Celebrates Art and Art Education

WHERE: LeRoy Collins Leon County Main Library, 200 W. Park Ave.

March is National Youth Art Month, and in recognition the LeRoy Collins Leon County Main library has transformed into an art gallery. Leon County celebrates the annual Youth Art Exhibit featuring artwork from students in kindergarten through fifth grade from 25 Leon County schools.

The exhibit celebrates art and art education. The artwork will be featured according to school, class and grade level on the first and second floors of the Main Library until March 31.

Visitors can view the art at the LeRoy Collins Leon County Main Library, 200 W. Park Ave., during normal library hours: Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.; Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, 1 p.m. to 6 p.m.
