Help Plan for Future Economic Development Efforts

County and City Provide Opportunities for Citizen Input

Throughout the summer, the Tallahassee/Leon County Office of Economic Vitality (OEV) is seeking citizen input on our community’s future business environment as part of the County’s and City’s ongoing economic development strategic planning process. The information gathered will be incorporated into the strategic plan, which will be used to systematically guide economic development efforts over time. 

“Whether growing a business here or relocating from somewhere else in the nation, our OEV team is here to help,” said Ben Pingree, Director of PLACE. “Through our ongoing listening and strategic planning sessions and the accessibility of the online survey, we are asking local business owners and residents how we can take our community to the next level. We’re not asking about what successes we see today, but rather what the big wins of tomorrow will look like.”

For citizens unable to weigh in at a listening and strategic planning session, OEV has a community survey available online. Visit OEVforBusiness.org/survey by July 31 to have your opinions included in the strategic plan.
