LAUNCHES ONLINE STORE FOR FLORIDA STATE PARKS MERCHANDISE
~Web visitors have new online way to
purchase patches, T-shirts, toys and more~
Just in time for the holidays, Florida State
Parks merchandise is available online.
TALLAHASSEE – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection and the Division of Recreation and Parks have partnered with Florida4You to offer an online store for state parks merchandise. Florida4You is a Florida-based, service-disabled, veteran-owned small business.
Products have a Florida theme and work to promote Florida’s state parks. Products include clothing, accessories, kid’s toys and apparel, camping equipment, technology, pet travel kits, Junior Ranger items and much more. New products will be introduced on a regular basis.
“Park visitors frequently request the opportunity to purchase merchandise,” said Donald Forgione, director of the Florida Park Service. “Park visitors like to have a memento to remind them of their experience at state parks. This website delivers on that request while helping Florida’s economy.”
Items can be purchased online at http://shop.floridastateparks.org or by telephone at 954-530-5378. Major credit cards are accepted. Gift cards are available.
Additionally, Annual Entrance Passes make great gifts. For just pennies a day, you and your family can visit Florida’s state parks. Annual entrance passes can be purchased at many state park locations or online.
Tickets to the Annual Florida Folk Festival are also available. Held every year during Memorial Day weekend, this festival offers music, folklife ways, crafts and tasty treats.
This visitor service operation runs at no cost to the state of Florida.
