ST. ANDREWS STATE PARK TO HOST SPECIAL NAMING CEREMONY IN HONOR OF LOCAL LEADER

~Jack Mashburn Marina to be designated at St. Andrews State Park~

PANAMA CITY BEACH - The Florida Department of Environmental Protection will host a special naming ceremony at St. Andrews State Park on Monday, July 25.
Originally sponsored by Representative Jimmy Patronis during the 2010 Legislative Session, the Grand Lagoon Boat Basin at St. Andrews State Park was designated the Jack Mashburn Marina via Representative Leonard Bembry’s 2011 House Bill 95. Mashburn served in the Florida House of Representatives during the early 1950s and was instrumental in the preservation of St. Andrews. A ceremony will be held at the park in Mr. Mashburn’s honor and all family and friends are invited to attend.
