DEP Announces Quarterly Resilience Forum

The Resilient Florida program will host its first Quarterly Resilience Forum of 2024 on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2024. Coordination is a critical part of the Resilient Florida program and this webinar allows attendees from all over the state obtain information on project updates and new resources.

 This will be an informative webinar with three presentations. The agenda includes: 

  • Estimating the Frequency of Hurricane Events: Insights from Hurricane Ian – Ebrahim Ahmadisharaf and Eunsaem Cho, Florida State University.
  • A Journey to Holistic Coastal Storm Solutions: Empowering Communities in Corps Studies – Rachel Rhode and Kate Boicourt, Environmental Defense Fund.
  • Water Quality Risks: Impacts on our Ocean and Coastal Communities – Olivia Lopez and Theo Koboski, Ocean Conservancy.
  • Resilient Florida program updates. 
  • Forum member announcements and updates.
