Blue-Green Algae Task Force Meeting Rescheduled
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Environmental Protection is rescheduling the next meeting of the Blue-Green Algae Task Force to provide more time for the task force to consider additional scientific information, synthesize existing research and gather public comment. This meeting was previously scheduled for Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 9:00 a.m. It will be held at the same location on Monday, March 16, 2020 at 9:00 a.m.
Parties who wish to submit comments for consideration in advance of the March meeting can email comments to BlueGreenAlgaeTaskForce@floridadep.gov. This is an opportunity for public comment in the interim, and there will be time allotted for public comment during the rescheduled meeting as well.
The agenda for this meeting will be made available on the Task Force website.
