Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve and Waccasassa Bay Preserve State Park to Host Public Meeting

~The public is invited to provide comments on the unit management plan~

DEP's Florida Park Service is in the process of updating the unit management plan for Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve and Waccasassa Bay Preserve State Park. Citizens are invited to attend the public meeting to learn more about the proposed plans for the state park and to provide their comments.

The public notice, agenda and draft plan are available online. Copies also may be obtained by emailing Ferlain.Hoover@FloridaDEP.gov or calling 352-543-5567. There will be a brief presentation at 6 p.m. Following the presentation, staff will be available for the duration of the meeting to answer questions and accept public comment. Additionally, the public is invited to review and submit comments to the Division of Recreation and Parks at FLStateParkPlanning@FloridaDEP.gov until March 13, 2019.
