Myakka River State Park to Host Public Meeting

~The public is invited to provide comments on the unit management plan~

DEP's Florida Park Service is in the process of updating the unit management plan for Myakka River State Park. Citizens are invited to attend the public meeting to learn more about the proposed objectives for the state park and to provide their comments.

There will be a brief presentation at 7 p.m. Following the presentation, a Q&A session will be held and staff will be available for the duration of the meeting to answer questions and accept public comment. Additionally, the public is invited to review and submit comments to the Division of Recreation and Parks by emailing FLStateParkPlanning@floridadep.gov until February 8, 2019.
