GTM Research Reserve Announces Marineland Lecture Series

WHAT: Marineland Lecture Series: "The Florida Microplastic Awareness Project" WHEN: Tuesday, Dec. 19, 2017 WHERE: Marineland Dolphin Adventure HOW: Click here to reserve a spot online. Limited seating is available so online Maia McGuire, PhD, Sea Grant Extension Agent will discuss The Florida Microplastic Awareness Project, a citizen-science project where volunteer citizens collect coastal water samples, filter them and look for microplastics. This program is part of an ongoing lecture series presented on the third Tuesday of the month by the GTM Research Reserve and Marineland Dolphin Adventure, and is designed to help the public learn more about the coastal natural world.
