Tree experts Stan Rosenthal and Sam
Hand will discuss common problems that urban trees face and how to help protect them for future generations. Trees play an important role in Apalachicola’s appeal, contributing aesthetically to the city’s overall historic landscape, providing countless ecological benefits, and adding shade and value to homes. This free workshop is sponsored by
the Apalachicola Area Historical Society, the Apalachicola National Estuarine
Research Reserve, Apalachicola Planning and Zoning Board, and the city of
Apalachicola.
