DEP SEEKS PARTNER FOR VISITOR SERVICES AT WERNER-BOYCE SALT SPRINGS STATE PARK

~Department seeks a concessionaire to provide services at busy state park~


WHAT:    Mandatory Onsite Meeting for Potential Concessionaires

WHEN:    Monday, Nov. 21, 2016

                  Port Richey, FL 34668

The Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service has released a call for business plans seeking a concessionaire at Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park in Port Richey. Possible services may include food and beverage services, merchandise sales, recreational equipment rentals and special event management.

Interested parties must attend the mandatory onsite meeting to be eligible to submit a proposal. Proposals must be submitted no later than 5 p.m. on Dec. 12, 2016.

In fiscal year 2015-16, 19,506 people visited Werner-Boyce Salt Springs State Park, which features a 320-foot deep salt spring and opportunities for fishing, paddling and wildlife viewing.
