STATE PARK CAMPGROUND EVACUATIONS AND PARK CLOSURES FOR HURRICANE HERMINE

~Evacuation of state park campgrounds and park closures to ensure visitor safety~

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service announces campground and park closures across Central and North Florida due to post storm conditions.

The following state park campgrounds are closed:

  • Manatee Springs State Park, Chiefland (Dixie County)
  • Ochlockonee River State Park, Sopchoppy (Wakulla County)

The following state parks are closed until further notice:

  • Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, Tallahassee (Leon County)
  • Bald Point State Park, Alligator Point (Franklin County)
  • Crystal River Archaeological State Park, Crystal River (Citrus County)
  • Econfina River State Park, Lamont (Taylor County)
  • Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, Homosassa (Citrus County)
  • Manatee Springs State Park, Chiefland (Levy County)
  • Ochlockonee River State Park, Sopchoppy (Wakulla County)
  • Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail, Crawfordville (Wakulla County) 
  • Troy Springs State Park, Branford (Suwannee County)
