STATE PARK CAMPGROUND EVACUATIONS AND PARK CLOSURES FOR HURRICANE HERMINE
~Evacuation of state park campgrounds and park closures to ensure visitor safety~
TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida
Park Service announces campground and park closures across Central and
North Florida due to post storm conditions.
The
following state park campgrounds are closed:
- Manatee Springs
State Park, Chiefland (Dixie County)
- Ochlockonee
River State Park, Sopchoppy (Wakulla County)
The following state parks are closed
until further notice:
- Alfred B. Maclay Gardens State Park, Tallahassee (Leon County)
- Bald Point State Park, Alligator Point (Franklin County)
- Crystal River Archaeological State Park, Crystal River (Citrus County)
- Econfina River State Park, Lamont (Taylor County)
- Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park, Homosassa (Citrus County)
- Manatee Springs State Park, Chiefland (Levy County)
- Ochlockonee River State Park, Sopchoppy (Wakulla County)
- Tallahassee-St. Marks Historic Railroad State Trail, Crawfordville (Wakulla County)
- Troy Springs State Park, Branford (Suwannee County)
