MOST STATE PARKS OPEN FOLLOWING
TROPICAL STORM COLIN

~Five state parks remain closed to ensure visitor safety~

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. The Department of Environmental Protection’s Florida Park Service announces that most state parks are now open following Tropical Storm Colin. However, some facilities remain closed.

These state parks remain closed until further notice:

Anclote Key Preserve State Park, near Tarpon Springs (Pasco County)

Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park (Citrus County)

Hillsborough River State Park, Thonotosassa (Hillsborough County) - camping also closed

Skyway Fishing Pier State Park, Tampa Bay (Manatee, Hillsborough and Pinellas counties)

Ybor City Museum State Park, Ybor City (Hillsborough County)
