The Florida Department of Environmental
Protection’s Florida Park Service is hosting a groundbreaking ceremony to announce the continued facility improvements at Werner-Boyce Salt Springs
State Park. Joining Gary Clark, DEP Deputy Secretary for Land and Recreation, and Donald Forgione, Florida Park Service Director, will be Rep. Amanda Murphy, Ken Anderson, President of Salt Springs Alliance, and Richard Gehring of the Office of Tourism Development and Office of Economic Growth for Pasco County.
The $1.7-million project
includes development of park roads, parking, boardwalks and restrooms. The project is scheduled to be completed this fall.
