This free Deadhead Logging class offered by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s Northwest District will cover the following topics:

what information is required and who to submit the application packet to.

govern logging activity – Learn how other state agencies interact
with DEP and how their interests affect logging in Florida waters.

History of Florida’s logging industry – Dig
into the reason deadhead lumber is more valuable today and how nature and
humans created this highly-prized resource.
