ROOKERY BAY RESERVE HOSTS WINTER SLUMBER 

~ Indoor camping experience offered in Naples for kids ages 11 to 14 ~ 

WHAT:       Winter Slumber at Rookery Bay

WHEN:       Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. – Dec. 20 at 8 a.m.

Rookery Bay National Estuarine Research Reserve invites kids ages 11 to 14 to discover the nocturnal side of nature while camping with Rookery Bay Reserve’s educators inside the Environmental Learning Center.

During this special program, campers will enjoy an owl encounter, investigate invasive species and learn the latest updates in research taking place in the reserve. The event includes evening and morning snacks, games and activities, guest speakers, a commemorative Rookery Bay water bottle and more.
