APALACHICOLA RESEARCH RESERVE HOSTS LECTURE ON NATIVE WILDFLOWERS

~Learn about the late summer and fall wildflowers of the Florida Panhandle ~

WHAT:          “Fall Wildflowers of the Florida Panhandle”

Apalachicola National Estuarine Research Reserve will host a lecture by Erik Lovestrand, University of Florida’s Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences Franklin County extension director, on Oct. 14 about the diversity of wildflowers that bloom during early fall in North Florida.  

Attendees will learn about the wildflowers native to the Panhandle before joining Lovestrand on a short walk around the reserve’s Nature Center to identify wildflowers found in Franklin County.
