Meteorological Summary:

Another chance for isolated to widely scattered showers and thunderstorms is forecast today.

The best chance for rain will be over the eastern half of the Peninsula while the western Peninsula and Panhandle have generally a 25% or less chance for seeing a stray shower.

No severe weather is expected.

Patchy to dense fog is expected along the entire Florida Gulf Coast overnight. This fog, if mixed with smoke from nearby wildfires, could result in isolated pockets of highly reduced visibility on roadways.

According to the Florida Forest Service, there are 112 active wildfires across the state burning approximately 15,246 acres.
