Meteorological Summary:
- Plenty of sunshine and a near-zero chance of rain will extend across the state today courtesy of high pressure over the southeast region.
- Breezy wind gusts will linger across South Florida today, with wind gusts reaching 20-25 mph with stronger wind gusts upwards of 30 mph.
- With dry conditions and ongoing drought conditions, sensitive wildfire conditions will develop throughout much of the state in the afternoon.
- High temperatures will reach the middle to upper 50s across North Florida, 60s across Central Florida and lower to middle 70s across South Florida in the afternoon.
- Another clear and dry night can be expected across the state. Widespread frost will be likely throughout North Florida with temperatures dropping near or below freezing.
- Low temperatures tonight will fall into the lower to middle 30s across North Florida, upper 30s to upper 40s across Central Florida, and 50s and 60s across South Florida.
- This will be the last night of sub-freezing temperatures for the next few days. Interior Northeast Florida and the Suwannee Valley will have a Freeze Warning go into effect tonight through Wednesday morning.
- Feels-like temperatures will remain in the upper 20s to middle 30s across North Florida and into the Nature Coast near sunrise Wednesday morning.
- A moderate risk for rip currents can be expected nearly statewide, with a locally high risk along Southeast Florida beaches due to breezy winds and elevated surf near 5-6'.
