Meteorological Summary:
  • Foggy conditions this morning will give way to a mixture of sunshine and clouds, humid conditions, and above normal temperatures this afternoon.
  • Isolated showers develop over the eastern Panhandle, courtesy of a stationary frontal boundary (20-30% chance of rain).
  • Areas of patchy to locally dense fog will develop once again tonight into early Thursday morning statewide; Dense Fog Advisories likely issued later today.
  • An elevated risk of rip currents continues for many Panhandle and Atlantic Coast beaches today.
  • A River Flood Warning remains in effect until further notice along portions of the Apalachicola River as water levels rise into minor flood stage.
