Meteorological Summary:
- Another day of low rain chances and mostly dry conditions can be expected across Florida.
- Showers with an isolated rumble of thunder will be possible along coastal Southeast Florida this afternoon and evening (10-20% chance of rain).
- Breezy northeasterly winds continue, with wind gusts along the immediate Atlantic Coast reaching 20-25 mph.
- Despite the dry conditions over the past few days, moderate to major riverine flooding continues along may Florida Peninsula and Northeast Florida waterways following historic rainfall from Hurricane Ian.
- While a slow recession of water levels persists along West Florida Rivers, we continue to monitor the slow rise of upstream points along the St. Johns River.
- An elevated rip current risk continues along Panhandle and East Coast beaches; high risk conditions can be expected along East-Central and Southeast Florida.
- Tropical Depression Twelve formed yesterday evening over the far eastern Atlantic; continuing to monitor Invest 91L for potential development over the Caribbean (80% chance of formation over the next 5 days).
