Meteorological Summary:
- Dry northwesterly flow will result in pleasant conditions statewide with mostly clear skies.
- Lingering ocean swells from Hurricane Ian is keeping a high risk for rip currents along the Atlantic coastline beaches today.
- A Coastal Flood Warning remains in effect for Coastal Nassau, Duval, St. Johns, Putnam and Flagler counties due to lingering storm surge of 1-2’. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect for Coastal Volusia and Northern Brevard (including Barrier Islands) counties due to dangerous rip currents and minor coastal flooding.
- River Flood Warnings remain in effect for Fisheating Creek near Palmdale, Alafia at Lithia Pinecrest, Horse Creek near Arcadia, Cypress Creek at SR-54 Worthington Gardens, the Peace River at Bartow, Zolfo Springs and Arcadia, the Myakka River at Myakka State Park, the Little Manatee River at Wimauma, the Manatee River near Myakka Head, Shingle Creek at Campbell, Little Wekiva River, and the St. Johns River at Lake Harney, Deland, Sanford and Astor. Several rivers are at major flood status.
