Meteorological Summary:
- Higher rain chances will continue across Central and South Florida this afternoon and evening along active seabreeze boundaries.
- A few thunderstorms along may be strong to locally severe with gusty winds, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall.
- There is a marginal risk of flash flooding today across portions of West Central and Southwest Florida.
- East winds around 10mph will continue a moderate to high risk of rip currents along most eastern Panhandle and Atlantic Coast beaches.
- There are 3 tropical waves being monitored for development. None pose an immediate threat to Florida.
