Meteorological Summary:

Scattered showers and thunderstorms across the state today, especially in the afternoon (20-40% chance of rain).
A few strong to briefly severe weather thunderstorms are possible with hail and gusty winds, especially in the Panhandle.
Spotty showers and thunderstorms continue in the Panhandle and southeastern Peninsula overnight.
Despite recent rainfall, an elevated wildfire threat continues statewide.
An elevated rip current risk continues for most Panhandle and Atlantic beaches.
