Meteorological Summary:
- Warm, dry, and windy again today. Gusts of 25-35 possible, especially in the Panhandle.
- A line of thunderstorms approach the western Panhandle tonight, and could bring an isolated threat of severe weather.
- A brief tornado, damaging wind gust of 45-65 mph, small hail, and heavy rainfall possible.
- Dry conditions and breezy winds keep the wildfire threat elevated across the state today, but especially in drought areas of Southwest Florida.
- A moderate to high risk of rip currents will continue along Panhandle and Atlantic beaches.
- River Flood Warnings remain in effect for the Apalachicola and lower Santa Fe Rivers.
- Isolated severe weather will continue through the day on Thursday in the Panhandle.
