Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report

EOC Activation Level: Level 3

Meteorological Summary:

Mostly sunny and windy today with gusts 25-35 mph (40-45 mph western Panhandle).
Isolated showers and thunderstorms across the Florida Keys and the West Coast.
A line of strong to severe thunderstorms moves through the Panhandle late tonight (after midnight).
Tornadoes, damaging wind gusts, small hail, frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall possible across the Panhandle late tonight.
Several rivers across North Florida are in minor flood stage due to recent heavy rainfall.
A moderate to high risk of rip currents will continue along Panhandle and East Coast beaches, with building swells due to increasing winds.
Severe weather moves across the rest of North Florida tomorrow.
