Meteorological Summary:
  • A couple isolated showers possible along the East Coast.
  • More dense fog is expected tonight across North Florida with patchy fog in Central Florida.
  • Moderate river flooding continues along the Apalachicola and lower Chipola Rivers; minor flooding along Escambia and Choctawhatchee Rivers.
  • There is a moderate rip current risk for Atlantic and most Panhandle beaches.
  • A moderate wildfire threat continues across the state.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.42 feet, which is 2.05 feet below normal for this time of year.
