Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report

EOC Activation Level: Level 3 - Monitoring

Meteorological Summary:

Line of showers and thunderstorms will move eastward across North Florida.
There is a Marginal Risk of severe weather for much of North Florida due to 40-60 mph wind gusts possible.
Dense fog is likely tonight across South Florida.
There is a high rip current risk for Panhandle beaches and a moderate to high risk for most Atlantic beaches.
River Flood Warnings continue for parts of the Apalachicola and Choctawhatchee Rivers.
Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.94 feet, which is 1.65 feet below normal for this time of year.
