Meteorological Summary:
- Dense fog this morning will dissipate only to redevelop again tonight across most of the state.
- Chances for showers and a few thunderstorms increase tonight in the western Panhandle.
- Near record highs and heat indices in the upper 80s to lower 90s expected in the Peninsula.
- There is a moderate to high rip current risk for Panhandle and most Atlantic beaches.
- River Flood Warnings continue for parts of the Apalachicola and Choctawhatchee Rivers due to minor flooding.
- Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 12.94 feet, which is 1.65 feet below normal for this time of year.
