EOC Activation Level: Level 3 - Monitoring 
Meteorological Summary:
  • Increasing showers are expected today and tonight across the state with locally heavy rainfall possible in the Big Bend.
  • Isolated thunderstorms are possible in Northeast and Central Florida overnight.
  • There is a moderate to high rip current risk for the East Coast and a moderate risk for most Panhandle beaches.
  • A River Flood Warning remains in effect for the St. Johns River at Astor until further notice.
  • Minor coastal flooding is possible in Northeast Florida, Southeast Florida, and the Florida Keys.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 13.27 feet, which is 1.70 feet below normal for this time of year.
