Florida State Watch Office Morning Situation Report

EOC Activation Level: Level 3 - Monitoring

Meteorological Summary:

Cold front has moved through nearly the entire state bringing cooler, drier, and windier weather.
Wind Advisory for coastal Northeast Florida where winds could gust as high as 45 mph today.
Showers will impact the immediate East Coast and the Florida Keys today and tonight.
High rip current risk for most Atlantic beaches, with breaking waves as high as 7-9’.
Minor to moderate coastal flooding in the tidal St. Johns basin, Northeast Florida, Southeast Florida, and the Florida Keys near high tide.
Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 13.32 feet, which is 1.67 feet below normal for this time of year.
