Meteorological Summary:
  • Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected across the Peninsula today.
  • Highs remain above average across North Florida, but overnight lows tonight will be pleasant.
  • Moderate to high rip current risk expected for Panhandle and Atlantic beaches.
  • Nuisance to minor coastal flooding along the tidal St. Johns basin, coastal Northeast Florida, and the Keys.
  • Moderate to high wildfire threat continues across North Florida.
  • Lake Okeechobee average elevation is 13.49 feet, which is 1.52 feet below normal for this time of year.
